We've captured the enemy Intelligence!

...Only not, 'cuz I was BLU Scout's mom. Not actually a mix-up on my part; I figured since Mom is a non-combatant, and also has her own saucy scandal to protect in there, it'd make more sense for her to have her own team's Intel than the opposing's.

This was a fun, if difficult, project. I had a lot of help from my dad, who was strangely enthusiastic about the whole thing once we got started. Of course he did get to use it as an excuse to go out and buy a new power tool. The two knob "lights" both popped off early on, but I brought some Krazy Glue so while annoying, it proved an easy fix, and it's not like I didn't have the time given all the lines.

The briefcase itself is actually fully operational, though given it's a thrift shop buy it does take some jiggling to open or close at times and that proved irritating but not really a huge problem. I even used it as my swag bag the day I did this costume, partly because we didn't pick up the official swag bags 'til the next day but also just 'cuz I thought it'd be cool to be able to actually use my costume and plus, less bags in the way of pictures. It was pretty heavy by the end of the day, though on its own it ways not even five pounds I'd guess.

Not sure what I'll do with it now that the convention is over. Guess I'll hang onto it for now, and either incorporate it into a later costume or eventually sell it.
