The Dirty Baby Owl

The buddy of my little panda, this guy is another bird. I sorta went through a phase where I was just making bird shapes for a while, not sure why. Though I can't really badmouth it too much, right now I'm into lumpy, round animals instead.

So the "Dirty" part is quite literal. Another experiment, self-imposed; I mixed dirt I got from around campus in with the paint. And damn does that make it hard to use. I mean it still stuck, but all that added surface area meant I probably should have used a lot more paint than I did. It still crumbles off a little sometimes, but I just try not to rub it too much.
I didn't even notice one eye was bigger than the other 'til the class mentioned it and now I can't stop noticing it. And now neither can you!
