Scunosi

Kind of can't believe my last journal was a year ago. I always talk too much in my journals so I don't update them even if I'm still active. I still check DA almost daily and I have actually been doing some art and lots of cosplay/crafts stuff but just nothing documented. I do have some Drawlloween/Inktober stuff I'll throw up here soon. Not sure if I'll scan it or just use the photos from my phone. It feels nice to be drawing again.

I've been spending literally all my free time working on 4 (!) cosplays. I've learned a bit about sewing/crafting but I probably shouldn't have taken on so much, or at least started much earlier. I even had to give up on a part 'cuz I just didn't have the time to master it, and if it's not good, I don't want it. Who knew making pants was so hard? I haven't really done much recently because all my weeks/ends have been booked with workouts and family vacation and Renaissance Faires, and now with PAX next week it'll be the big culmination of the past few months. So I moved again. This time it'll be me and the boyfriend moving into our first place together, rather than him moving into my place. We upgraded to a 2 bedroom so we can have a real office rather than cramming our desks into wherever we have room. So far it's nice and spacious, and we're basically totally unpacked, but now we've got to actually figure out where we're going to put everything rather than just shoving it all in a closet or on a shelf to clear the floor.
